Facing reality, life is full of people who want to bring you down. The question is are you going to let them?
Being a homeschooler in the world of teenagers is one of the biggest reasons I used to be bullied. Sadly a majority of today's society has the motto of “Be the same or be lame” if you are not apart of the “group” then you are nothing. This has been my experience for a very long time, and it took me a while before I understood that being different is what makes you unique.
The truth about bullies is plain and simple, and that is hurt people hurt people. People become "bullies" when they push others down to elevate themselves, to feel powerful.
Today's society says that you have the right to have your own opinion, but then when you give your opinion you become the target for haters. Being different and having different opinions is just fine. You should stand up for yourself, and never let others push you down for what you believe in.
Being confident is the key to life. You will never achieve anything in life if you don’t have the confidence to go for it. You have to stand up when people are pushing you or your friends down.
Experience has taught me that when you don’t say something you feel or stand up for someone, you will regret it.
Confidence is what makes you shine. You must strive with confidence if you want to achieve your goals in life. You can do anything you just have to believe you can. It doesn’t matter what people think about you, it only matters what you think about you. You have to love yourself for who you are not what people want you to be.
Embrace your confidence. Be who you want to be, and do what you want to do. Don’t let what the world thinks to stop you from achieving your goal. You are bigger, better, braver and smarter than you know.
Someday in your life for whatever reason you will get haters, people will reject you, or try to hurt you. But you and only you have the power to overcome their hate and rise above. If you keep going and never give up, no matter how hard it gets, you will make it through.
“Many people, especially ignorant people, want to punish you for speaking the truth, for being correct, for being you. Never apologize for being correct, or for being years ahead of your time. If you’re right and you know it, speak your mind. Even if you are a minority, of one, the truth is still the truth.” - Gandhi
